PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIES POLICY

§1 DEFINITIONS

Policy – this document

Service – the operator of the service www.karbon2.pl

External Service – internet services of partners, service providers and/or service recipients of the Administrator

Service Provider / Administrator – Karbon 2 Sp. z o.o., registered at a following address:

ul. Modelarska 11a, 40-142 Katowice, tax identification number (NIP):  6481006627, offering services through the Service, and placing cookies in Website Users' end-devices and has direct access to them.

User – a person for whom the Administartor provides services through the Service.

Device – electronic devices along with softwares through which User is accessing the Service.

Cookies - are computer data, mainly text files, that is stored in end-devices of the Website User and is intended for use with the pages of the Web Service.

Personal data – refers to any information that identifies a specific individual or make it possible through one or several factors describing User and their physical, physiological, genetic, psychic, economical, social or cultural identity including image, voice recording, contact details, location, information included in correspondence, information gathered through recording devices or similar technology.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 dated 27 April 2016 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It addresses the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

§2 INFORMATION

The administrator of personal data is Karbon 2 Sp. z o. o., registered at ul. Modelarska  11a, 40-142 Katowice. As the Administrator we process your data in order to properly carry out the contracts and as a consequence of contact request form sent to us and available on our website.

Information about our clients are stored on secured servers and proccessed in accordance with the law requirements. We respect our clients’ privacy therefore data we store is confidential and we never share the store information with the third party, security of the stored information is our priority.

Your personal data is processed in connection with services we offer, marketing purposes and mailing in accordance with Art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a Ogólnego Rozporządzenia o Ochronie Danych Osobowych dated 27 April 2016.

We also wish to inform that you have access to your data at any time and have a right to correct, delete, limit, transfer, protest or remove them at any time. If you think that processing your data breaches rules and regulations of Data Protection Act of 27 April 2016, then you may send your complaints to  Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych.

Personal data given to Karbon 2 are not sold but shared with third parties which provide ICT services, courier companies which carry out deliveries of item bought through our website and as a consequence of your clear permission to do so or law requirement.

Your data will processed in an automated way including the profiling. The automation is regulated by our internal rules and regulations and as a consequence of such activities you will receive selected marketing information.

Sharing your personal information is optional, however choosing not to do so may result for us to be unable to get in touch, provide services or send offers and/or marketing information or offers.

§3 COOKIE FILES AND THEIR TYPES

Internal cookies –  files placed on and read from User’s device by the Service.

External cookies –  files placed on and read from User’s device by External Services.

Session cookies - temporary files placed and read by the Service or External Services only during the time you use the website. Once the browser is closed after using the website, the files are deleted.

Persistent cookies - files placed and read by the Service or External Services which stay on the device until they are manually removed. These files are not automatically removed once a session is over unless User’s device is set to remove them after finishing the session.

§4 SECURITY

Mechanisms of storage and reading - Mechanisms of storage and reading of Cookie File does not allow to collect any personal or confidential information from User’s device. Transfer of bugs, viruses, Trojan Horses or any other harmful software is practically impossible

Internal Cookies – are applied by the Administrator and safe for users’ devices.

External Cookies – the Administrator is not responsible for any files used or sent by the Service partners. A list of partners is published further down of this document.

§5 WHY WE USE COOKIE FILES

Improvement and easier access to the Service – Administrator may store information about preferences and User’s settings related to the Service in order to improve and/or modernise the quality of services of the Service.

Statistics - Administrator and External Services use Cookie Files in order to collect and process stats such as: number of visits, Users’ devices stats of Users’ behaviour. Those data are collected in order to analyse and improve our Service.

Media services – Administrator and External Services use Cookie Files in order to support media services.

§6 EXTERNAL SERVICES

The Administrator cooperates with the following external services which may use cookies and place them to User’s devices:

§7 CONDITIONS OF STORING AND ACCESSING USER’S DEVICES BY THE SERVICE AND EXTERNAL SERVICES

User may at any time change settings in terms of Cookie Files. User may at any time delete previously saved Cookie Files using tools of User’s device through which the User is using the Service.

§8 SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

Limited access to cookie files on User’s Device may cause certain malfunctions of the Service. The Administrator is not responsible in any way for such a situation when User chooses the limited access to the Cookie files.

§9 CHANGES IN COOKIE POLICY

The Administrator has rights to change the Cookie Policy at any time without informing Users about such changes. Any implemented changes will be published on this website. Implemented changes enter into force on the day the Cookie Policy is published.
